    If you need to change only the hostname for UCX, the best
way to do it is:

@SYS$MANAGER:UCX$CONFIG
Select 1 (Core Environment)
Select 4 (Interfaces)

and just follow the prompts.

    At the very least, you'll need to stop and restart UCX when
you are done, you might even need to reboot.

    Any reason you are running a very old version of UCX? At
the very least, you might consider installing ECO 10, it's available
at:

ftp://ftp.itrc.hp.com/openvms_patches/layered_products/alpha/UCXECO_41_10-V1000.PCSI-DCX_AXPEXE.
