Just to remind you:
The VLC is supposed to use a RZ23L (approx 1/8 GB) internally and is
limited to 24MB memory, which makes it difficult to use TCPIP in any
version above V4.2.
To use a more normal disk (by today's standard) connect it to the
external SCSI. I've used RZ25's booting VMS V6.2, which IIRC gave no
problems
