I'm guessing that's actually a typo, and it should be "Mannequin",
which comes up with several hits on Google in relation to Alpha and
DEC, but no download links.

Interestingly though, I also found reference to another internal DEC
Alpha simulator called "ISP" that apparantly the Digital Unix group
used to port it to Alpha. I found a binary for that in some Linux
archives, as it was released by the guy/people who did the initial
Linux/Alpha port at DEC. There's a copy of it at
http://www.ibiblio.org/pub/historic-linux/distributions/Blade-0.3/misc/isp/isp_linux.tar.gz
.. Unfortunately, it was compiled/last modified around 1994/95, so it
uses the old libc libraries, which means modern Linux distros won't be
able to run it.

Not sure if this would even boot OpenVMS, and it doesn't appear that it
has networking support, so for me this isn't quite what I'm looking
for, but may be useful to some.

Anyway, thanks to all for their suggestions.
