Not to defend or deny what you heard (I heard many of those same presentations as well), what do people think of Apple switching to Intel chips. For years, Apple and Steve Jobs have said many negative things about Intel chips in favor of PowerPC. Now that they've switched, were they lying in the past? Is this similar to the Alpha vs Itanium switch?
