Sigh ... Its always amusing to see those "IT rookies" (like media
reporters/analysts who have never spent any time in a DC environment)
use the term "legacy" to describe what they do not understand in a
condescending and/or derogatory manner in such a way as to imply that
the platforms they are familiar with are in some way better.

Martin Banks is one of the longest serving UK IT journalists around. I've still got his review of the DEC Rainbow somewhere.
