It's a good chance that satanic incantation was CTRL+SHIFT+F3. This
enables the "dead rodent" mode. This allows you to use the arrow
keys and the three keys directly above it (SELECT, PREV and NEXT on
an LK4xxx) as the three buttons of the mouse.

Chanting the sequence a second time will take you back normal
keyboard use.
