I have an application that I started on the Itanium after I logged in via
the console. I need to type a control-B to get its attention but this is
the sequence used by the management processor to get one to its menu. Is
there something in the console menu I can set to change the default to a
different sequence so that I can get out of this application?
Not as far as I know. Use one of the other serial ports (not the console
port).
I have VGA console working in-house. It will ship and work on Itaniums with
the new firmware (primitive window menu interface) that has a means to set
the Primary console.
