IBM pushes Power while Cray pushes Opteron. Hey wait a minute. Didn't Cray
run on Alpha until Alphacide pulled the rug out from underneath them?
No. Cray's parallel processors ran on Alpha until Silicon Graphics
bought them and decided they should run on thier own MIPS chip.
That was long before Alpha was shot.
