Since the "patent" line is a valid comment, I suspect something
has happened to the RMS attributes of files to make it look like
there's a line break in the middle of that line.

Try /undefined_fat options to see if you can get around this.

We might be able to help you with the options of you can tell
us what system you burned the CD on and what steps you took to
get the files there.
