Since the "patent" line is a valid comment, I suspect something
has happened to the RMS attributes of files to make it look like
there's a line break in the middle of that line.
How can I correct it on PC? I'm also suspect problem in license files,
but saving them from e-mail message gives me 3 variants (in size
terms). I checked 2 of them - no luck. The variant with bigger size is
remain.

us what system you burned the CD on and what steps you took to
get the files there.
On CD burned OpenVMS 8.3. I simply burned image, what I have in Nero.
License files were burned by Nero with ISO9660 standard without any
extensions.
