Hhmmm...
Noticed something unexpected today on OpenVMS V7.3-2:
$ jdi = f$getjpi( jpi, "diocnt" )
$ jbi = f$getjpi( jpi, "biocnt" )
$ sh sym j%i
JBI = 4096 Hex = 00001000 Octal = 00000010000
JDI = 4095 Hex = 00000FFF Octal = 00000007777
JPI = "00002E9D"
$ show proc/acco/id=2e9d
22-FEB-2007 08:23:06.00 User: SYSTEM Process ID: 00002E9D
Node: NODE Process name: "BATCH_3244"
Accounting information:
Buffered I/O count: 245157 Peak working set size: 6736
Direct I/O count: 2485822 Peak virtual size: 175424
Page faults: 25512 Mounted volumes: 19
Images activated: 76
Elapsed CPU time: 0 00:19:00.11
Connect time: 0 07:50:07.67
Soft CPU Affinity: off
Why don't the Direct I/O and Buffered I/O counts match the values returned by
F$GETJPI()?
