I suppose Your cluster is ethernet (NI) based, so You want to avoid paging
over the network.
First of all, there is no need to keep the (small) pagefile on the MSCP-
served system disk (unless the satellites memory is veeeery small, but then
better add some memory). After creation of the pagefile on the local disk,
(and verifying that SATELLITE_PAGE.COM is correctly installing the file),
simply rename the pagefile on the system disk, reboot, then You can delete
it.
And if You have an independent dumpfile (You know it is not necessary, the
system can dump into the page-file), then consider also to place it on the
local disk: Dump Off System Disk (DOSD).
See a quick recipe on how to setup and a pointer to the documentation at
http://forums1.itrc.hp.com/service/forums/questionanswer.do?threadId=1045678
Also, if your boot server has a shadowed system disk, implementing DOSD
for satellites will eliminate full shadow merges on the system disk when
a satellite reboots.
