I had always assumed they were the same thing.


Another thing I learned when I was working on VAX/VMS in The Netherlands
was that folks don't like being called Dutch. Netherlanders works better.

That would probably be because "Dutch" is really just a coruption
of the term "Deutsch" and they are not Germans. :-) I live in an
area with a lot of what are historically called "The Pennsylvania
Dutch". They are, in fact, German and have nothing to do with
Nederland.
