Sorry, I mis-wrote:

It may well still be on IA64 as DPML rather than CPML, and I
am sure that it should be as the Fortran or C compilers will
not work correctly (probably, other languages).

I should have said:

am sure that it should be as the linkage of .OBJs of Fortran or C
compiled code using these intrinsics would generate errors (probably,
other languages).
