This is the same as what I ran across when using a Mac client with
Multinet's NFS server. I had to force the Mac client to use NFS V2.
Which versions were you using? I am using a Mac client (started at 10.4.9, now running 10.5.1) to talk to a Multinet V5.2 NFS server with no problems at all, include the use of groups and ACLs.
