Hi,
Does anyone know how to change the timeout?
Search for connect_timeout in
http://manson.vistech.net/t3$examples/demo_client_tcp_ip.cob
Or, due to the Year-Zero program instigated by Ann of Web Services, we are
prettending that VMS 3GL development never existed and are killing off our
stinking legacy customers as quickly as we can because they are an
embarassment to us and upset our sensibilities, so you may wish to look at
Tier3Socket.java instead?
Regards Richard Maher
PS. I think you need OPER priv to set the timeout with TCPWare (Not sure
about Multinet?)

I am trying to write some production code based on: tcpip
$examples:tcpip$tcp_client_qio.c
The connect qiow (with the io$_access function code) times out in75
seconds. I can find documentation that says I can change that timeout
for this socket (I don't want to change the system timeout). But I
can't figure out how to change the timeout. This is for a device on a
small isolated intranet, so I what to use a shorter timeout.
Does anyone know how to change the timeout?
