Dear VMS Friends,
In my opinion communication is the life blood of any relationship. And
as you all know I communicate frequently and openly with you via email.
I am honored to know you personally and we have developed a
relationship over the last 25 years. I made a promise to you as
individuals that I would never give away your email address. The only
exception to that promise was last week so that Ann could send out her
email message. I feel that it is essential for the communications
between the OpenVMS team and you continue. I also feel that it is just
as important that you get to know Sujatha. Because I want you to get to
know Sujatha I have enlisted the help of Connect to do a web cast on May
22 at 11 am Eastern time. This will allow you to meet Sujatha, ask her
questions and get to know what kind of person she is .
But just as important I want her to get to know you. Additionally, she
needs your ok to be part of the OpenVMS External Distribution list.
So I need you to fill out the bottom of this mail and return it. If you
are already on the OpenVMS SIG distribution list please fill out the
form as well, we still need to get to know you. Each person must fill
out the form for themselves. If not, each email we send is viewed as
un-requested email. Which means we are using corporate machines to spam
people. Spamming is frowned upon these days.
Not only is this important for you to keep receiving OpenVMS
communication, I would view it as a personal favor.

have you have work with VMS (since version 5.2)
NO NO please do not send it to Sujatha's personel email. It is
supposed to the other email address. Once the network comes back or
the work day tomorrow I will post. Jan is correct. I love email and
have had about 700 responses not everyone feels that way.
