I'll be happy to try to help. But the symptoms you describe are confusing.

1. Are you using TELNET, as I stated was necessary? Using some other
protocol _may_ not work correctly.

I was using SSH, not TELNET. When I switched to TELNET everything worked as advertised.

Sorry for the double post, I didn't think the first one took... :-(
