Thanks guys. That should be enough to get me going. Bob, I appreciate the concern, but it should be relatively safe to reuse UIC's in our case ... these users have a home directory and a LOGIN.COM which launches them straight into the application. They don't run reports or create logs or such i.e. incorrect file ownership issues should be minimal.
