Long time ago I started this thread asking for ideas about an issue I had
with a ba356 shelf...Dug everything out again tonight and decided to
component test everything, right down to discrete parts.Problem turned out
to be some small surface mount fuses withing the SBBs themselves. The shelf
has been fine all along, but it seems that my old shelf took out all the SM
fuses in the SBBs that where connected to the 5v rail.Replaced them all, and
everything booted as normal :)Figured i'd share in case anyone else needs
    the info.TTFNEgonOn Sun, 26 Jan 2003 23:31:06 -0000, "Egon Spengler"

Interesting post, because this is what I saw months ago with
several BA356s-KC and JA and DS-RZ1DA-VW discs.

All the DS-RZ1DA-VW discs are correctly working in DEC servers in the
    SBB case.

But If I try the discs in the StorageCabs, I cannot see any of them,
unless I hang a Compaq F2/F1 storagecab in place of the terminator!

PS if you search this forum you'll find the article I posted.
