    I don't know if it really counts as overclocking, but some VAXstation
    3100-30/40s (~2.7 VUPS) can be converted to VAXstation 3100-38/48s (~4
    VUPS).

    To do this, locate the 44MHz crystal. Replace this with a 66MHz
    crystal. There is also a jumper (wait state?) that must be changed. I
    don't remember exactly where it was, but it was near one of the corners
    of the board.

    Disclaimer: Do this at your own risk. Attempting these modifications
    may turn your computer into a non-computer. These instructions may or
    may not have anything to do with reality, but are probably the result of
    a halucination.

    Does anyone know how to change a VAXstation 4000-90 to a -90A? (or -90B,
    -90C, etc. <grin>)
