Boaz, the "company line" is that you violate any warranty by popping
open the "SBB" or "caddy." To continue in general, EACH drive has a
special "flex lead" that connects the drive to the backplane and carries
specific signals. In this case, without knowing what type lead each
drive uses, it may not work correctly in the device shelf.

Frankly, you'd probably be better off finding and using a standard PC
disk tower. Convert to SCSI if necessary. Trying to adapt a particular
disk shell or SBB to install a generic disk and use the BA356 sounds
pretty risky to me.
