Hi Didier,

Is there any reason that "shutdown -h" does not work? I'll admit that it's
been a couple of years since I actively used Linux, and have not used it on a
PWS. Does the SRM setting override the OS?

Failing that, is there any reason that <CTRL>P , issued immediately after
console "startup" does not halt the boot, and return you to the console prompt
(again, all previous disclaimers apply here)?

!Any help would be greatly appreciated !
