The Hardware itself supports 1.5GB. The only difference between a PWS433au
and a PWS500a
is the processor, the graphics card and perhaps the SCSI-Controller (depends
on the PWS's age).
The mainboards are the same.
But the PWS has a buggy chipset ("PYXIS-Bug") and so some OSes cannot use
the Memory.
Linux only use 1GB RAM max, but AFAIK can OpenVMS use the 1.5GB RAM.
