    John, thanks: i found several manuals for the 4000-60 at
    http://vt100.net/manx/ The VAXstation 4000-60 bugchecked after 10 hours
    uptime. Apparently the LCG color board went south: it was removed from the
    system. The 4000-60 is now up for 6 hours and I intend to keep it running
    thru the night. Hopefully it is just the LCG because I don't need it.
