Well, You want an 64Bit OS so NT isn't for You. Even on the Alpha NT is only
a 32Bit OS...

But it's not expensive, and You get a "real" Enterprise-class Unix. And when
looking around on a OS for my Alphas I got the feeling that the Linux
versions are a bit dated, though. On the other side there's a lot available
for Tru64, incl. OpenOffice ;-)
