All-
My VS 4K-60 has developed an odd quirk on boot.
Bringing the machine up from a cold start- it makes it through the
inital memory test and the suddenly halts, displays the message
Restart 85, and then boots all over again normally.
If I unplug the ethernet cable, it boots normally.
The cable is plugged into a Baystak 102 hub which in turn is fed by a
Linksys cable router. I get the same behaviour if I unplug the
opposite end from the hub.
On the machine end of the cable is a Synoptics 508A transciever. Is
this possibly a sign of the 508 headed for casters-up mode? My
current setup has the machine in a spot that swapping the transciever
for another known good one a last resort.
Any advise is welcome.
