If the in-wall cat-5 wiring is 'standard', you can use a BN24H-xx and
BN24J-xx wire pair to connect to an RJ45-port DECserver, like a 90TL or
a 90M. BN24's have an RJ45 plug at one end, MMJ on the other. The 'J'
and 'H' indicate straight through and crossover (though I do not know
which is which...). You can use either cable for the terminal to
walljack connection, and the other for patch panel to DECserver. the -xx
generally indicates the length.
VT510 -- BN24J -- jack -- wiring -- patch panel -- BN24H -- DS90M
or
VT510 -- BN24H -- jack -- wiring -- patch panel -- BN24J -- DS90M
If you have a DECserver with MMJ connectors, then you still use one of
the BN24 cables (the straight through one, sorry, not sure of the
letter), and a standard MMJ-MMJ (BC16???) cable from patch panel to
DECserver. I have no info on digi products.
