Any VT-compatible async. serial terminal should work just fine. Assuming
you're running OpenVMS or one of its earlier versions, SET
TERMINAL/INQUIRE at some point during an interactive session should set
you up just fine.
Pinouts and such are another question, of course. Both the terminal and
the asnyc. mux or terminal server port will be DTE; so, you'll need
"null modem" ("cross-over") cables to make the connect.
