    I understand that with the above tricks you were able to select the SRM
    console, so the first step is done.
    You've only left now to solve the possible unsupported hardware issues,
    start with the OpenVMS FAQ around section 14.4.4. Nothing is guaranteed
    to work though, so good luck :)
