Hi All, I have a tl891dlx which is stamped "SDLT Ready" internally on
the chassis. As you know the tl891 series is made by overland data
(they sell them as the libraryxpress sieres). When overland came out
with the LoaderXpress (SDLT version) Compaq went with the Neo's
instead (MSL50xx) and dropped the tl series. But... I really need an
sdlt library.
Does anyone know whether it is possible to throw a 110/220 or
hopefully a 160/320 SDLT into a TL891DLX? I'm pretty certain the bios
is compatible because Overland lists the same bios version for the
LoaderXpress as they do for the LibraryXpress, but I'm really
concerned about the shuttle arm assy and the picker... Any insight
would be great. Thanks!
