DNPG seems to have taken down the DSRVH-OM.PDF file. I would appreciate suggestions as to where to find this file.
Also, when booting, it asks for MNENG2.SYS as a load file. It downloads the one on my system (with a 22-NOV-2000 date), but seems to go dead once it has it. What date/version of this file does it need?
It does go dead, it starts to decompress the load file.
It takes 5min(!) to decompress and start the load.
Be patient, or use the (uncompressed) MNENG3.SYS.
OTOH, you need a bigger flash (2MB instead of 1MB) for the MNENG3 in the flash.
But for booting over the network this is no problem.
To enter the console mode press ^B^B during the boot.
Thanx for the response.
Yes, I was just too impatient. If left alone long enough, it does come up.
And I found the manual courtesy of www.archive.org.
I have MNENG1 and MNENG2, but no MNENG3. If MNENG3 is just a decompressed MNENG2, is there a way for me to create it from MNENG2?
Also, the owner's manual doesn't really discuss flash variants. Were there units sold with no flash? Once I get the 90M up and issue a SHOW MEMORY command, it tells me that there is no flash installed.
