I am trying to do a complete system recover back to factory settings,
My system recover disc set is 3 discs, but when I try to do it, it only ask
for 1 of 2 and 2 of 2, it never ask for the third disc and it never restores
back to factory settings, it only does an application recovery even though i
select complete erase and restore to factory settings.
I never even have to re-enter the windows key or anything, it says it
complete's but when it starts its the same old desktop wallpaper and app's
and shortcuts. No restore back to factory
if it's any help, its a Pavillion XL753, with a 700 MHZ Celeron and Windows
ME about 2 years old
Last time I did this it worked fine and asked for all 3 CD's and the windows
Key and restored it back to factory.....I have tried a clean restore 3 times
now it as many days and still the same.....Disc 1 of 2 and disc 2 of 2 and
no restore
any suggestions?
