Hi All,
I've just swapped out an ageing HP 715-64 for a B2000a FXE, running HP-UX 10.20
ACE Dec 1999. The 715 had a Designjet 600 plotter connected to it's parallel
port which worked fine, I can't get the same to work with the B2000a (using same
parallel lead).
On B2000a SAM under devices lists:
10/0/14/1/3 SCentIf Built-In Parallel Interface
However attempting to add a printer to this (using SAM) claims no parallel port
could be found.
Anyone have any clues on why this could be ? HP-UX bug maybe fixed by later
patches ?
Also does the FXE fully support hardware OpenGL ? Our application, SDRC I-Deas
Master Series 6 works fine with the PEX driver but OpenGL is slow (seems to be
doing it in software).
Any help much appreciated.
Neil
