Hi All,
I am installing a new external HP tape drive, model Surestore DAT40, to a HP server model RP5470 server.
The instruction manual tells me to

"determine whether I need to change SCSI from the default ie 3" ....but it doesnt tell me how to do this, the documentation is pretty crap

I need to do this urgently I am browsing for more help but in the meantime i am sure any HP gurus can help

I have found out that i need to run a command called ioscan but that gives me a list(see below) which does not have a column to showing SCSI ID's

I am a HP newbie , i have no idea what i am looking for in the list and how to change the SCSI ID , please help .Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

This is what i get from ioscan command

 /sbin/ioscan -f
