nfs problem

trying to mount a solaris fs on hpux 11.0 through nfs

nazca:root:/>mount manco:/tmp /mnt
nfs mount: get_fh: manco:: RPC: Program not registered
nfs mount: get_fh: manco:: RPC: Program not registered
nfs mount: retry: retrying(1) for: /mnt after 5 seconds
nfs mount: retry: giving up on: /mnt
nazca:root:/>

mounting any exported hpux 11.0 fs from the solaris works fine.

any hints
