There is a possibility that it might give you some problems, but this
will be reported by cmapplyconf. If it complains about the node, make
a tar backup of /etc/cmcluster (in case you want to roll back) and
then do a cmdeleteconf command. This will properly remove cluster
configuration (it will leave your package cntl/conf files alone -
basically just empties cmclconf). cmdeleteconf also gets rid of some
things resident in memory, which at some versions of mc/sg is
required. After that, cmapplyconf should give no problems.
