/opt: if you leave it away, you have to disable all stuff, which invokes
things from /opt while the startup.
/var/adm/sw should never never never be removed from a backup, because
you won't be able to install any patch without the swinstall database.
Does init 1 start fine, without it? (I remember, that there is a step
"configuring unconfigured software" in the rc2... hmmm:
/sbin/rc2.d/swconfig). Also after a complete crash or some hardware
change you may find, that it is necessary to install a patch immediately
after booting up.
/var/adm/crash is ok to leave away.
