HP-UX 11.23 on C3600

    Hello,

    I have successfully installed HP-UX 11.23 on one of our C3600 PA-RISC
    workstations equipped with a fx-10 graphics accelerator. According to HP,
    11.23 is not supported on the C3600 However, in HP parlance, this usually
    usually means "not known to work" rather than "known not to work" and
    that's why I tried.

    Sure enough, everything works fine except that the 11.23 X server does not seem
    to like the fx-10 graphics hardware. After a few seconds, the graphics monitor
    freezes and top shows that the X server consumes over 99% of the CPU.

    Anybody out there tried the same thing and got similar problems?
    I really would like to run HP-UX 11.23 on the C3600 - HP supported or not.
