trying to handle printing ques with jetadmin and hp-ux

First of all thanks in advance. I'm new in this stuff and it ain't
easy.
Ok, I use my N4000 with hp-ux to run an application and I use
jetadmin, to manage printing cues for printers on-line. Most of this
ques are for hp printers (such as n4550), my problem is with gestetner
printers.
So I wondered if jetadmin is the best way to make compatible ques
for all kind of printers?
I don't know if there are generic programs for printing ques
management, or if any of you can tell me the best way to make generic
printing ques.
