It's not a problem. X is a network based window system. On my X desktop
I have quite a few windows opened by remote systems. How can you keep a
connection to a remote system going when it or your system change IP
addresses?

The solution is to have sufficiently long leases, and not change the IP
address gratuitously (i.e. the same machine should keep the same IP
address unless something really important happens, such as a move to
another subnet). There is no virtue in changing IP addresses every
couple of hours.
