Re: HP-UX upgrading

What kind of issues did you find , Ximian related ? Freezes upon
initialization ?

Using depothelper, installs some dependences (gettext, libiconv) which are
already present in Ximian Gnome (/opt/gnome/lib e.g.) in /usr/local
In the path, as stated in /etc/PATH, /usr/local comes first, but the new
gettext doesn't work, due to unresolved externals.

Everytime you use depothelper, it installs gettext and other stuff.
As soon it finishes I remove them with swremove.
All works with the gettext in /opt/gnome.
bash4.2 needs some trick, because removing the new gettext makes it unusable
(bash 2.4 still works).
I use a modified PATH, switching the order of /opt/gnome/xxx and /usr/local.

A real nightmare ...
