Hi, I have been searching this group and others for about a week now
and I cant seem to get my O2 connect to the internet through a router.
I managed to connect to the internet once but once I rebooted I cant
seem to be able to connect again.
I tried the "proclaim" and the "system manager, network setting"
(enabling the DHCP)
I can ping my router and all other PC computers on my home network but
when I ping a website, I get "unknown host". Which I think it's a
problem with DNS(not sure)
Setting up "/etc/hosts","/etc/sys_id", something about "resolv.conf"
which I setup. I think I have done everything I could.
Are there other settings I have to look into?
Am I forgetting something crucial in IRIX6.5?
Anyhelp would be great.
Cheers
Greg
