Khalid,
Are you sure it's the hardware that's broken, not the mplayer? mplayer doesn't seem to me like a way of stress testing hardware texturing... Some of the demos will, CAD systems will (the ones that can actually do texturing), CAID will (Maya, Alias Studio, Blender, ...).
