    you should be able to use the nvram command to reset the 'console' prom env,
    assuming you can get to irix, and telnet in or something. i think at some point
    i had actually taken a disk from an indy and plugged it into an indigo2 and it
    worked. that's 'think' not 'know'.

    usually it's 1280x1024 by 60hz.

    can you use a mini DIN to mini DIN? like got an indy there?
