No such luck, I'm afraid. Trust me in this area: sync on green, or no
dice. Basically, it's not the cabling that determines sync, it's what
the monitor is built to support.
I've been here before, a number of times. I can tell you what ~won't~ work:
- Many Apple ColorSync monitors (perversely enough)
- Apple Studio Displays of the weird blue or graphite frogleg format
~that use DiamondTron tubes from Mitsubishi~
