IRIX 6.5.12 -> 6.5.22 problem

I am attempting to upgrade from 6.5.12m to 6.5.22 (downloaded from the SGI
website) and am running into troubling errors:

The following conflict particularly concerns me:

Overlay product eoe.sw.base (1289434520) cannot be installed because of
missing prerequisites: base product eoe.sw.base (1274627340)
  2a. Do not install eoe.sw.base (1289434520)
  2b. Also install base product eoe.sw.base (1274627340) from an additional
      distribution -- insert another CD or specify another software
      distribution

Then I get about a 100 products which are not comptabile with eow.sw.base.
eoe.sw.base certainly is installed and appears to be in the updates as well.
This happens during both a miniroot install and a live install.

Any pointers?
