Yep, I was my guess as well but...
and need to

...there the system shows nothing about the dials ! I even can't install
them. So how they could be regognized ?!
For the cable I think the pinout

Type # is: 9780804

does this make any sense for you ? I searched all of SGI help systems,
the old sgi.meta.sys etc. but could find out anything.

Yep. That's all. I guess I really should try to install that package -
but how the heck the dials can be regognized ?!
