    I've had similar problems with my Onyx1 (using an AUI-cat5 transciever) and
    a 100mb switch. I couldn't get it to work at all (tried different forced
    speeds and duplex settings). In the end I had use a 10mb hub between the
    Onyx and the 100mb switch which fixed it!
