Is it possible to create a preop() entry that _halts_ the installation
of a package? When installing a package that requires a specific
username, we'd like to test if the username exists on the system
before continuing with installation of the package. We created the
necessary preop() entry and return an exit code of 1 but inst
continues with the installation of the program, assigning a new
user/group:
Assigning id 60000 to unknown user/group name www
